Variable Area Flowmeter

TM Trogflux

The TM Trogflux variable area meters are used to measure the volume of transparent liquids and gases passing through closed piping. The variable area meters can also be used for flow monitoring if they are equipped with one or more switching contacts.

Standard scales are available for liquids with a density of 1 kg/l (62.43 lb/cu.ft). The scales must be recalculated for all other media depending on the physical characteristics.
Applications:
  • Potable water preparation
  • Plastering machines
  • Cooling water measuring devices
  • Measurement of gas injection
  • General installation in plastic pipes
Please find additional information about the measurement principles under Design and Function.

TM 250

The TM 250 variable area meters with a standard length of 250 mm (9.84 inch) and a completely metal design can be used to measure many different types of liquids and gases passing through closed piping. The robust design means that they can also be used in rough conditions.

Different types of flanges, liners and float materials satisfy the requirements of the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The measured value is displayed directly on the scale, and output via a switch contact or as a current output.
Applications:
  • Chemical industry
  • Water
  • Power generation and distribution

Baffle Plate with Balance Beam

TM Gardex

The TM Gardex flowmeter is a robust device for measuring and monitoring the flow of liquid and gaseous media in any flow direction. The measured value is indicated on a scale, and is optionally available via contact switches or a current output. Standard scales are available for liquids with a density of 1 kg/l (62.43 lb/cu.ft). The accuracy corresponds to ±3% of the full-scale value.
Applications:
  • Measurement of refrigerating and heat transfer medium
  • Heating facilities
  • Building facilities
  • For high temperature
